Spring Has Sprung

"I thought I was doing something wrong!" the first-year teacher told me. "I couldn't figure out why all the kids were going haywire. They'd been doing so well ..."
"Spring Fever," I said.
"Yeah! I didn't know that's what was wrong. I thought it was me."
I sympathize with those kids. These days we're doing as much school outside as possible, including plenty of Agricultural Studies--i.e., digging garden plots, transplanting lettuce, basil, and oregano, examining apple blossoms, and generally wandering around nursing our hay fever and looking at blooming things:

Yes, yes, more wisteria. I am suddenly quite taken with this plant. Good thing I wasn't very familiar with it twelve years ago, or our daughter might have ended up as Wisteria Witt.
